  • Couples Therapy

Whether you are tired of having the same fight over and over and you are ready for a change, or you just feel stuck in your relationship and want to feel closer to your partner, couples therapy could help. Couples therapy can be a useful tool in building safety and connection in your romantic relationship. My approach is primarily informed by Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.

  • Family Therapy

Family and life transitions can result in difficult or sticky family dynamics. Family therapy can help families build safety grow strong together. I utilize family therapy techniques from Emotionally Focused Family Therapy and Structural Family Therapy. I also integrate concepts from Attachment Theory to help families identify problems and heal together.

  • Individual Therapy

Struggles with mental health can make the everyday challenges in life more difficult to handle. In therapy, clients can identify and re-write negative patterns, building more safety and security within themselves. I primarily use methods from Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy to help individuals heal and grow.

I accept clients as young as 6 years old. I do require parent/guardian involvement for clients 12 and under.

  • Premarital Counseling

Are you considering marriage or in the engagement phase looking forward to your wedding day and life together?Premarital counseling can help couples prepare for marriage and life after the ceremony. Going through counseling before marriage has been shown to lower divorce rates, decrease relational conflict, and improve relational quality (Carlson et al., 2012).

I am certified in both Prepare/Enrich and SYMBIS premarital programs.

To be human is to need others, and this is no flaw or weakness.
